Slackline Enters My House

Oh man…. this ┬áhas been a long time coming. I think buying a kite took a bit longer, but man, I have wanted one of these for ever. It is Slackline time baby.

Slacklining is way harder than I ever thought it would be. If you ever Youtube it, you will think you can do it with ease. Let me be the first to tell you, that this is not the case.

Slacklining is hard as shit. I never expected it to be so hard. Maybe I should give a quick explanation of what it is.

Slackline is a two inch nylon strap tied between to points. From there it is meant for people to walk across like a tight rope. That is the easiest I could go on the explanation.

Simple right.?.?

That is what I thought. After testing the slackline, I still wonder how people even do it. Mad amounts of practice is all I can think. For the dudes who flip on these things. Props for days, you had to make it your lifestyle for at least a year or two.

I got to give it up to my buddy Miller for taking the ropes and for buying this $50 dollar piece of nylon. He knew it was the right decision, we take so many trips together and can use this in so many places that it finally became a no brainer. Thanks for making it happen.

I am now the proud owner of a 50 foot piece of Slackline. I didn’t think I had a place to use it in my yard, but I have to thank god I didn’t cut down that pair tree like I wanted to.

It’s on now. I got a slackline, I got a place to test it out, and I will be pissed until I can walk all 50 feet on it.

There is no telling how far we will take this sport, but I am confident we will continue to master it. I think Slacklining just became part of our lives. So stoked for the future.
